Dr. Piotr Krzysztof Kubiak

Clinical Director and Senior Veterinary Surgeon

My name is Dr Piotr Kubiak, and I have been working in veterinary medicine for the past 12 years.

I graduated from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Poland in 2014. Although I have always loved my home country, I knew from an early stage in my career that I wanted to work abroad.

My journey began in Finland, where I cared for both small and large animals. I met many fantastic people there, several of whom are still close friends today. However, the language barrier made it difficult to develop my veterinary career to the level I aspired to, so I decided to move to the UK.

For the past nine years, I have worked as a locum veterinarian in a wide variety of practices, gaining valuable experience, developing my skills, and meeting some truly wonderful colleagues. During this time, I developed a particular interest in dermatology and diagnostic imaging.

Eventually, I felt it was time to take the next step in my career, and together with Branca and Elena, I founded Artemis Veterinary Clinic.

I am passionate about my work and enjoy tackling challenging medical cases and complex surgeries. Whether a lump is tiny or enormous, no case is too small—or too big—for me to take on!

Outside of work, I'm a proud nerd. I enjoy painting Warhammer miniatures, playing on my PS4, and hiking with my wife in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

I look forward to meeting you and helping your pets live happier, healthier lives.
